Integrating Power

Providing an exceptionable passenger experience includes making passenger spaces universally accessible for all. Arconas has a variety of seating, power and counter solutions that can help make any facility more barrier-free.

Accessible seating

Accessible seats are clearly labeled with internationally recognizable accessibility symbols to indicate that the seat is reserved for persons with reduced mobility. For lateral transfers from a wheelchair, the outer arm can be removed from a seat position at the end of the row.

Persons with Reduced Mobility (PRM) seating

Persons with Reduced Mobility (PRM) seating can help passengers feel supported and comfortable. PRM seats are raised slightly higher to allow individuals to get in and out of the seat with ease. The recommended ergonomic seat height for persons with reduced mobility is 19” / 480 mm above the floor.

End-mount power

End-mount power on seating allows people in wheelchairs easy access to power outlets at arm height.

Wheelchair accessible height

Our emBARq table is available at a wheelchair accessible height with universal charging.
