The use of clerestory roof, helps to light up the interior space. The spaces are designed in such a way that no solid wall is used as a partition between the spaces, which makes each space private as well as interactive with each other. The design tends to bring a sense of dividing spaces by using the activities of that space as a boundary between two spaces.

Inspired from the fishermen of Maldives, we have tried to provide an experience for the users of the cafe which will take them through the journey of fishermen culture . We have incorporated elements like anchored lighting, boat seatings, reflective wooden floor boards, to enhance the cafe environment and feel. In addition to it, wooden panels on wall with parametric false ceiling using wood to induce a feeling of ocean waves. The materials used, also play an important role in making the connection in between the users and the theme or story of the café. For example, the choice of reflective wooden floor boards was done so as to provide the users an experience of the local fishermen boats, such that it relates to the context as well as the story.
