FROM A STRONGStart
Adrian Stancil-Martin ’28, a first-year student, was elected to Appleton’s Common Council less than seven months after arriving at Lawrence.
“The sense of community among students, and even faculty, was clear to me as soon as I arrived. It was because of the support throughout campus that I decided to run for Appleton’s City Council during my first year here—and it was because of this support that I won.”
TO A STRONG
Finish
Madeline Foreman ’25 came from California filled with anxiety. Her journey at Lawrence taught her to apply her experience on campus—learning that everything is ‘figureoutable’—to whatever comes next in the world.
“We’re launching into careers, graduate school, and fellowships; a thrilling, yet slightly terrifying, adventure... As we step into the ‘real world,’ we echo Lawrence’s call: Light! More Light! Our luminous seal symbolizes the power of truth triumphing over darkness, a light intended to illuminate our paths and guide us through uncertainty and fear... One constant remains the same: we are forever Lawrentians.”
When you choose to give, you are giving strength to the students of today and the leaders of tomorrow. The Lawrence Fund supports students from their first day on campus through their last step after graduation.
