Dear Alumni, Families, and Friends, As I look out my window here in Alumni Development House, I am excited and inspired by the many positive (and tangible) changes we’ve seen on our campus this past year — changes made possible by the generosity and commitment of so many of our dedicated supporters.

Just down Powderhouse Road, I see the new Media Conference Center, built thanks to two successful Senior Parent Gift Campaigns, in 2013 and 2014. The philanthropic support we received from parents of these graduating classes enabled us to construct this innovative center that, as it enters its first full school year of use, will provide our students with technological links to educational experiences from around the world.

Walking across the Quad and looking out over LA’s beautiful “backyard,” I see Murbach Field, with its new, multi-purpose turf field — the result of the incredible generosity of a few visionary benefactors who desired to create a newly designed space that complemented our beautiful campus, provide a state-of-the-art playing field, and ensure a wonderful new viewing area for the community as we gather to watch our teams play.

Current Parent Giving By Class CuRRent pARent GivinG Lawrence Academy benefits greatly from the philanthropic support it receives from current parents, and this past fiscal year, LA’s parents provided remarkable support. Gifts were received at every leadership giving Circle level, and parent participation remained strong. Through the gracious generosity of LA’s parents, the amount raised for the Annual Fund and Senior Parent Gift totaled $1,562,678. The impressive display of support broadcasts a strong message to all of LA’s constituents about how invested our current parents are in advancing the school. A special thanks goes to Nancy Lotane for serving as Parent Fund Committee Chair and to the entire Parent Fund Committee.

Senior Parent Gift The Co-Chairs of the Class of 2015 SPG, Steven and Jennifer Stone and Charlie and Nancy Morrison, provided the energy and determination toward achieving fundraising success for the Senior Parent Gift campaign. With the visionary goal of providing capital funding for a new campus entrance along with continued

support for the Annual Fund, the Co-Chairs and SPG Committee worked with diligence and dedication right up until graduation to complete the campaign. More than 200 guests attended the annual event and helped to raise over $45,000 in support of the Annual Fund. Once again, the event was held on the terrace of the McDonald Library and included a silent auction with some wonderful items to bid on.

In the 20th and final year of the Gagné Winterim Golf Classic, we extend our appreciation and gratitude to the late Richard H. Gagné, who passed away on February 5, 2015.
