Once received, we ask that you please inspect thoroughly—prior to installation—for any physical defects which may have occurred during shipping. Lighting that has been installed is not eligible for return or exchange, and L’Aviva Home does not take any responsibility for any damage incurred during installation itself.
Please be sure, too, to note the maximum recommended wattage for your fixture when choosing a bulb; using higher wattage bulbs can short the wiring, and L’Aviva Home does not take responsibility for any damage incurred under these circumstances.

INSTALLATION
1. This product must be installed in accordance with applicable installation code by a person familiar with the construction and operation of the product and the hazards involved.
2. Turn off power to junction box before installing.
3.Thread 1/8 IPS x 1-1/4" Nipple (1 provided) in to top end of Hang Straight, then thread Hang Straight on to Upper Stem Assembly. Unthread Screw Collar and slide down Upper Stem to rest on chain loop.
4. Slip Canopy over Hang Straight and down Upper Stem to rest on screw collar. (take care to not scratch stem).

5. Thread Bracket Bar onto Hang Straight and secure with Lock Washer and Nut.
6. Raise Upper Stem Assembly, with canopy, and secure Bracket Bar to junction box with (2 provided) 8-32 screws.
7. Feed fixture wires (clear silver SPT-1 and tinned ground) from Electrical Assembly up through Lower Stem Assembly.

8. Thread Lower Stem Assembly into coupling on Electrical Assembly (avoid twisting wires). Secure with Set Screw (in coupling)
9. Connect Ring to loop on Upper Stem Assembly.
10. Raise Fixture Body with Lower Stem Assembly and connect loop to Ring.
11. Orient hinged section of Ring as shown in image of wire passing by ring.
12. Feed fixture wires past the Ring as shown in Image of Wire Passing by Ring.
13. Feed fixture wires up through Upper Stem Assembly. Pull excess down around Bracket Bar.
14. Perform wire makeup using (3 provided) Wire Nuts - ensuring proper polarity, (Ribbed wire of SPT is neutral)
15. Raise Canopy and secure in place with Screw Collar.
16. Install (3 provided) 8-9 watt, E26, LED Bulbs. (60 watt incandescent equivalent) Then supply power to the fixture.
