February 24, 2024 Welcome to the 2024 Lausanne Auction: Barbie & Ken, presented by Mechanical Systems Company and Pro Pics. Auction is always a lively, fun-filled evening, and tonight will be no exception! Our auction team has worked tirelessly in partnering with our community to showcase so many incredible items, and I want to remind you of the reason behind this hard work, as tonight is much more than a party. Each year, auction proceeds fund crucial school programming and enhancements not covered by tuition. This year, proceeds will benefit our faculty and their students through the Faculty Fund for Financial Aid, the lifelong learning and growth of our students across all three divisions through the Innovation Fund, and the greater Memphis community through LynxServe, our student-led service learning program. Additionally, this year’s Fund-A-Need will allow us to enhance our STEM/ STEAM classrooms and programs. Our students, our faculty and our community as a whole thank you for your incredible enthusiasm and support, which has already given tonight an impressive (and very pink) start! Successful fundraisers are the result of true team effort. We offer our most sincere thanks to the Lausanne Parent Connections Auction Committee, Divisional Coordinators and Grade Representatives. For months, I have watched these volunteers work long hours in an effort to help pull off the event you’re here to enjoy tonight. As you browse, bid and buy, please take a moment to thank those who have made this beloved annual event possible. View a full list of volunteers on Page 7. Enjoy your evening, bid often and bid high knowing that your participation as an organizer, attendee, sponsor, donor or bidder is helping shape and inspire our campus community for generations to come.

Cheers,

Stuart McCathie Headmaster Barbie & Ken 1
