Join us for a transformative evening of meditation and sound bathing led by Ellie and Matthew Shrader of Shrader Healing. In the garden's great hall, we’ll gather for a deeply restorative experience where you’ll be guided through a meditation designed to help you reconnect with your body. Then, settle into a state of relaxation as you’re “bathed” in healing sounds from gongs, crystal bowls, shruti boxes, flutes, drums, and more. This meditative sound bath creates a soothing, immersive environment that promotes relaxation, mental clarity, and a sense of wellbeing.
A sound bath is a meditative experience where attendees are “bathed” in sound waves. These waves are produced by a variety of healing instruments. This type of meditation doesn’t always have a catchy melody or rhythm one would associate with going to a concert, but instead is a carefully selected wash of instrument and voice with notable resonance and overtones. During the sound meditation, participants lie on their backs—sometimes referred to as the Savasana position in yoga— for the entire experience as Ellie and Matthew weave together sounds which bathe participants as they tune the mind for healing.
Bring whatever you need to get comfortable—yoga mat, blanket, pillow, or eye mask—and let the sound guide you into a state of deep calm. Participants often report feeling deeply relaxed and rejuvenated after the session. Please arrive 15 minutes early to settle in, and please avoid wearing fragrances to ensure a comfortable space for all.

The use of ceremonial cacao is designed to help you relax and renew your mind, body and spirit. The ceremony is a spiritual and meditative event lasting 90 minutes, with a focus on releasing negative energy to increase relaxation, creativity, and focus. It is centered around the consumption of ceremonial grade cacao, a gentle plant medicine (think hot chocolate) that is full of essential minerals and rich in antioxidants like flavonoids that help protect the body from oxidative stress and inflammation. During the ceremony, the cacao is chopped and melted into a drink to be sipped on, accompanied by a combination of guided meditation, breath work, and journaling. Holly Adams invites you to take part in this tradition, designed to help bring you to the present day, unattached from the tasks and programs that may keep you limited.
Please note: Cacao intake is not recommended if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or if you have a heart condition or complex medical condition. Tea will be provided upon request.
