Sharon Yvonne Mercier 1963-2018
Sharon passed away peacefully on November 27, 2018 at the Hudson Palliative Care Centre with her loving family and friends at her side. She is survived by her partner of 35 years, Jim Putnam and three children Anthony (Sandra), Andrew, and Ashley (Travis). She will be sadly missed by her in-laws Carole and Bob Putnam and sister-in-law Lynda (Mike), and her many relatives across Canada and the United States. Many thanks for the loving care given by members of the CLSC, Nova Hudson and the Hudson Palliative Care. Sharon will be forever missed by her family and friends. She would have been overwhelmed by all the love and support we received at her Celebration of Life on Sunday, December 2, 2018. The generosity of spirit has been appreciated by all of us. Donations can be made in her memory to the Hudson Palliative Care or Nova Hudson.

Calm down… We all say that everything is going too fast and then, we complain that it’s long, the line is not moving, the red light seems to take forever, people are slow. Go on! Move! Hurry, my phone! He is going to make me miss the green light! Where is my order? What is the waitress doing? The cashier is not very fast. Look! He did not make his………
STOP! Calm down. Without excluding myself from this statement, we forgot to breathe and with it, that we all live together. Time is not money. Time is the present moment to feel what is happening around us and to realize that we are all in the same boat. That finally, we are all at the same place, at the same time and that we all do good things as much as we all make mistakes. When you will see someone making a mistake, look into your personal history and you will surely agree to these 3 words: JUST LIKE ME. The feelings of tolerance, sharing and support will surely come.
Happy and joyful holidays to all.
