Aaron and Kristin Boland have transformed their love for quiet retreats into a romantic escape on their favorite lake. As parents of three, they understand the importance of carving out time for one another and have created the perfect spot for couples to unwind. Their cozy treehouse is designed for two, with no TV to encourage guests to disconnect and enjoy simple pleasures like games, books, and the serene lake right outside.
The treehouse itself is a unique blend of rustic charm and modern amenities. Unlike the off-thegrid treehouses they’ve visited, Aaron and Kristin wanted to offer a place where guests can still enjoy comforts like cooking, showering, and soaking in a hot tub. Designed by Kristin and crafted by Treehugger Customs, the treehouse exudes French provincial style, complete with antique pieces Kristin personally selected, including French doors from Turkey and a spiral staircase from Bob Jones University. Building it came with challenges, like drilling through rock to secure its foundation, but this only made their retreat feel even more special.
Visitors have celebrated anniversaries, birthdays, honeymoons and proposals in the peaceful treehouse, creating lifelong memories. Aaron and Kristin loves sharing this serene getaway, offering
guests the perfect place to relax and reconnect. To complete the experience, she recommends enjoying a burger at Harris Landing, savoring BBQ from Lee’s, and renting a boat to explore the lake.
To book this amazing retreat, call or text Kristin at 864-525-6224 or email her at Kdsims11@yahoo.com with “Old Soul” in the subject line.
