A season of love, laughter,

Our founders, Curt Schroeder, Pat Hill, and Dexter Black, began with a passion for theater. They gathered like-minded thespians and together they formed a community theater full of this year’s theme: Love, Laughter, and Legends. The goal is to bring the magic of live theater to our local community so that everyone, no matter their income bracket or social standing, can come to “love” the theater, join in “laughter”,

Bold, surprising, boisterous, and timely, this P&P for a new era explores the absurdities and thrills of finding your perfect (or imperfect) match in life. The outspoken Lizzy Bennet is determined to never marry, despite mounting pressure from society But can she resist love, especially when that vaguely handsome, mildly amusing, and impossibly aggravating Mr. Darcy keeps popping up at every turn?! Literature’s greatest tale of latent love has never felt so theatrical, or so full of life than it does in this effervescent adaptation. Because what turns us into greater fools...than the high-stakes game of love?

This lively seven-person show whisks the audience through a fast-paced exploration of Shakespeare's greatest works and their influence on modern culture. With a blend of slapstick improvisation, and witty commentary, the performers tackle everything from the iconic tragedies of Hamlet and Macbeth to the comedic delights of A Midsummer Night's Dream. The Show isn't afraid to poke fun at the Bard's legacy while celebrating the timelessness of his storytelling. Audiences can expect a playful mix of historical satire and contemporary humor, creating an engaging and lighthearted tribute to Shakespeare In the end, this joyful celebration highlights the lasting impact of Shakespeare's words and characters on today's world.

In the middle of a howling snowstorm, a bus out of Kansas City pulls up at a cheerful roadside diner. All roads are blocked, and four or five weary travelers are going to have to hole up until morning. Cherie, a nightclub chanteuse in a sparkling gown and a seedy fur-trimmed jacket, is the passenger with most to worry about. She’s been pursued, made love to and finally kidnapped by a twenty-one-year-old cowboy with a ranch of his own and the romantic methods of an unusually headstrong bull The belligerent cowhand is right behind her, ready to sling her over his shoulder and carry her, alive and kicking, all the way to Montana.
As a counterpoint to the main romance, the proprietor of the cafe and the bus driver at last find time to develop a friendship of their own; a middle-age scholar comes to terms with himself; and a young girl who works in the cafe also gets her first taste of romance.
