ProjectFeature: DENVER MUSEUM OF NATURE & SCIENCE

In partnership with the Denver Museum of Nature and Science (DMNS), the City and County of Denver, and Dig Studio, ECI celebrated the grand opening of the one-of-a-kind Nature Play & Box Canyon Waterway project in September 2024

The interactive outdoor space was built in the four-acre City Park behind the DMNS and features the restoration of the park’s historic waterway, as well as the representation of Colorado's eight ecosystems

Additional unique elements include multiple different types of boulders, a box canyon, several natural play areas, a 20-foot tall bighorn climbing structure, and custom carved wood artwork throughout which display Colorado’s unique wildlife in various ecological areas

This new outdoor space provides learning opportunities and gathering spaces for all ages and abilities and will serve as an iconic landmark for the Denver region for years to come

RecentlyCompleted: DOVE VALLEY

Dove Valley Regional Park, located across from the Denver Broncos’ practice facility in Centennial, celebrated its grand reopening in October 2024 after undergoing extensive upgrades The expansion added 40 acres to the existing venue, making it the largest park in Arapahoe County at 93 acres total

ECI led the project as the general contractor, with Wenk Associates serving as the landscape architect Improvements to the park include numerous amenities: Large playground with shade structures, small hillside nature play slides and log climbers, swing set playground, off-leash dog park, outdoor fitness equipment station, three-acre community turf grass lawn, expanded concrete and crusher fine walking paths, picnic shelters that can be reserved for gatherings, large parking lot, sledding hill, pond overlook area, and bike park and pump track

RecentlyCompleted: CLOVER MEADOWS

ECI celebrated the completion Clover Meadows Neighborhood Park in southwest Longmont in November 2024 This is one of three design-build parks ECI is currently building for the City of Longmont

Spanning 6 84 acres, the park features several new amenities, including a playground, bike track, open turf area, picnic shelter, restroom building, and walking paths Wenk Associates was the landscape architect for this project. ECI is quickly approaching the completion of Dry Creek Community Park and Fox Meadows Neighborhood Park for the City of Longmont as well.

FOX MEADOWS NEIGHBORHOOD PARK

Fox Meadows Neighborhood Park is one of three design-build parks ECI was contracted to build for the City of Longmont The 9-acre park will feature a turf lawn, playground area, restroom building, picnic shelter, and trails

DRY CREEK COMMUNITY PARK

Dry Creek Community Park is one of three design-build parks ECI was contracted to build for the City of Longmont and involved a 6-acre synthetic turf field conversion to create a new and improved space for sporting events and recreational use

WILLOW BEND PARK

Willow Bend Park is Loveland’s first inclusive neighborhood park, featuring a shaded universal access playground, sport court, play field, picnic patio and restroom facilities

WILDWING PARK

This new park in Timnath features four pickleball courts, basketball and volleyball courts, a community garden, playground with adaptive play features, and a pavilion.

WESTMINSTER DOWNTOWN CENTER PARK

This unique park will feature open lawns, flexible programming spaces for events and gatherings, bench swings, shaded picnic and relaxation areas, a spray pad, an off-leash dog area, restrooms, and landscaping,

GREEN AT 38TH PROMENADE

The Green at 38th Promenade is a streetscape featuring a playground, plaza, community gathering space, green space, outdoor classroom, and community patchwork wall

IDLEWILD PARK

This new park in Winter Park will include a custom steel wigwam play feature, an allinclusive nature-themed playground, sledding hill, multi-purpose field, picnic tables, firepit seating area and trail connection to the existing Yankee Trail.

HERON POND CARPIO-SANGUINETTE PARK PH. 2

Phase II of this project will include extensive landscaping and irrigation, park trails and a nature overlook, habitat restoration and two parking lots.

HIGH NOTE REGIONAL PARK

This 80-acre park in Lone Tree will include a festival terrace for community events, amphitheater lawn, splash pad, pavilion, multi-purpose fields, food truck area, restroom building, and trail connection to the Happy Canyon Regional Trail.

LOWRY COMMUNITY PARK

This project entails the addition of an adult-sized synthetic turf soccer field at Lowry Community Park in Aurora Other project aspects include shade trees, an open field area for informal play and community gathering areas

BENNETT CIVIC CENTER PARK PHASE I

Bennett Civic Center Park will include a playground, youth baseball field, splash pad, restroom, plaza, parking lot, and landscape and irrigation.

ECI GOLF TOURNAMENT RAISES

$37,000 FOR THE AIMS FOUNDATION!

We are excited to announce that the ECI 6th Annual Golf Tournament on Sept 6 raised $37,000 for the Aims Community College Foundation’s Construction Trades Scholarship The foundation is the charitable arm of Aims Community College, and all funds raised will help offset expenses for the next generation of construction leaders

“Thank you to the many sponsors who supported the construction industry and our future workforce,” said Ted Johnson, CEO of ECI. “ECI is built on partnerships among our people, community and industry, and we are grateful for avenues like Aims Community College that provides tangible skills that are so vital to the development of the construction industry.”

The tournament was hosted at Highland Meadows Golf Course in Windsor and rallied the support of 21 sponsors that contributed immensely to the total amount raised These funds will go towards numerous aspects of construction students’ education, including books, attendance costs, tuition, fees, etc ECI has been supporting the Aims Foundation’s Construction Trades Scholarship since 2018, and over the years, we have donated more than $150,000

ANNUAL MS WALK

We continued our tradition of participating in the Windsor MS Walk in May. As the Gold Sponsor, we benefited the National Multiple Sclerosis Society's mission of finding a cure for MS, while also empowering those affected by MS to live their best

HABITAT FOR HUMANITY

ECI proudly supports Fort Collins Habitat for Humanity as an industry partner and had the opportunity to participate in two Team Build Days in 2024. Thank you to our staff for giving their time to help build homes for hardworking, local families.

CONSTRUCTION CON

As members of the Northern Colorado Construction Sector Partnership, including Ted Johnson as Board Chair, ECI attended Construction Con in October. We had the privilege of joining numerous other industry professionals and meeting with more than 700 high school students, who spent the day exploring construction career pathways and engaging in hands-on trades activities
