Dr. Jeffrey Long will share his research and give real glimpses of the afterlife from his collected accounts. Long is the author of the book Evidence of the Afterlife: The Science of NearDeath Experiences, a New York Times Best Seller and founder of the Near Death Experience Research Foundation. He has appeared in many media outlets, including The O’Reilly Factor, NBC Today, ABC (Peter Jennings), Dr. Oz Show, History Channel, Learning Channel, National Geographic and Fox News Houston.

Jerome Henry Brudos, the “Shoe Fetish Slayer,” was an American serial killer and necrophile who murdered at least four women in Oregon between 1968 and 1969. His killings are primarily known for centering around Brudos’ fetish for women’s shoes.

An evening proudly sponsored by the Cumberland Chapter of Kentuckians for the Commonwealth, this poetry slam promises to be a captivating journey into the various voices of Appalachia. To make your evening even more enjoyable, we’ll be offering light refreshments.

UPCOMING EVENT Living History: Titanic Saturday, February 3rd
Embark on a fascinating journey, as we open the door to the past in an interactive way. Participants will unlock the Titanic’s past and experience a sampling of tastes, sounds, and history of the RMS Titanic during this living history event.
