Rectangular:
Waistband above the hip; flare or wide leg.

Apple shape:
Mid-rise waistband; light-colored jean to accentuate your legs!





Hourglass:
Wider leg; bootcut; high rise skinny. Accentuate your slender waist! (No, skinny jeans are not “out”...a high rise makes it modern.)
She adds,
“For petite women, a straight leg jean paired with a classic white tee and an oversized blazer is a terrific look. Push up the sleeves to elongate the look!
With a fuller jean, tuck a tee or blouse and wear with a crop blazer. Fuller piece on the bottom? Balance the look with a more tailored and/or shorter top..
With a straight leg, wear a cardigan or something not too wide – again it balances the look and gives you a longer, leaner appearance.”

“First, fold the hem of your blouse or tee under, so you don’t have so much bulk in your jean – then tuck!

For a sweater, take about an inch on the side ( never in the middle) and tuck off to the side, above the belt loop. Even cuter? Unbutton most of your buttons and pull the sweater hem to the opposite side, you get a really cute twist without bulk.”
