The July 2020 issue of the newsletter from the Oxfordshire village of Launton. This is published in print and distributed to every household in the village, and online through issuu.com. This 40 page issue contains information about the local "Salute The NHS" initiative where many from the village volunteer to create meal and other packs for NHS staff. The front cover photo is of the hangar where the work is carried out, and there is a report on the project as it approaches its target of shipping 1,000,000 packs by early July. There is the first of regular reports from the East-West Rail Alliance which is recreating a rail line from Oxford to Cambridge which runs through the village. It will have a big impact on Launton for the next decade! There is a regular report from the Parish Council, the 78th contribution from Tony Jeacock, "The Ex-Launton Boy", a centre spread showing Launton marking VE Day in May, and a piece looking forward to the reopening of the three pubs in the village after lockdown.
