It’s 48 pages again this month - so much is going on in the village.

The middle four pages (23-26) are a Readership Survey: we want to know what you would like to see in future issues, and we also hope that you will be able to contribute to LauntonLines. Pull out the pages, complete as much as you want, and then drop the form off in the Costcutter shop. We’ll report back on findings later.

The cover shows the Hunter’s Supermoon from October seen from the village. There is also on page 2 opposite a photo from Ella Rayner of the Northern Lights from Chestnut Close. There is good news about bus services from the village on pages 12-13 (I plan to include a full timetable in the next issue), and page 41 shows two of the recent trains running on the East-West Rail line. As the displays are now public, there is an update on the Poppy Cascade on pages 16-17 and 28, and a FoLPH report on pages 37-38 with news of ways forward for the Parish Hall project. Looking forward there’s also news of events round Christmas and New Year on pages 31, 36, 40, 42, and 47.

Please support our advertisers: we need them to keep Launton Lines going.
