Poppy Cascades for Launton

Some of our beautiful poppies have been on tour to the poignant Normandy D-Day beaches, (Arromanchesin the photo below and on the cover).

Our next meet-up, to continue attaching our 2,500 poppies to the camouflage netting, is on Saturday 28 September at 10.00-11.30 in the Parish Hall.

Please join us if you can: no experience is needed. If you haven’t been before please come along and say hello, see our progress, and have a cuppa.

Everyone is welcome, not just ‘ladies knitting’ by the way! We would love to see gents and children too!
