There is news of two pantos for Launton. On page 24 the LPFA write about Cinderella from Chaplins Pantos, free for children on 3 December, marking their 50th Anniversary. On pages 34-5 the Village Players introduce Rapunzel, their 37th Panto on in mid-February.
An appeal for mince pies is on page 19, for two events: the Christmas Concert - 9 December - and the Service of Nine Lessons and Carols - 17 December.
Greta Walker shares (pages 28-9) part two of her memories of the area during World War II. There is all normal content (Parish and Cherwell Council reports, and reports from village organisations, and children from the school write about Cross-Country running) as well. Bicester Hygiene Bank appeals for donations for Christmas on pages 32-33
