The July 2021 issue of the newsletter from the Oxfordshire village of Launton is published in print and distributed to every village household, and online through issuu.com. The cover of this 40-page issue shows a field of buttercups and clover looking towards Yew Tree Close. The Agreement to Lease for the Parish Hall has been signed by all three parties, and an open meeting of PHIP on 20 July will discuss plans for the future. There is news of the first major fundraiser for the Parish Hall in 10 months - a Cake, Bake, Produce and Plants sale. The AGM of the group behind Launton Lines is on 7 July, and there are reports from Chair, Editor and Treasurer. The sixth Dog of the Month stars a rescue dog from Korea (Robin), and there are also a list of road closures, reports from the Parish Council and the WI, notice of the reopening of the Community Café in September, a photo spread of a centenarian (Iris Burden) leaving the village, and the regular contribution from The Ex-Launton Boy, Tony Jeacock.
