STEWARDSHIP

Dear LCFC Family, As we reflect on 2019, we celebrate the successes of the Latino Community Foundation of Colorado. You will see in the pages of this annual report our many accomplishments; we funded 29 organizations, built capacities for individuals, organizations and communities and served as a connector between grassroots leaders, grantees and our community members. Thanks to your generosity, we were able to spend every single day of 2019 working to build the influence and power of Latino communities throughout Colorado—from west of the Rocky Mountains and south of Pueblo, to the north of Fort Collins and throughout the Great Plains. While it might sound ambitious to try and represent the over 1 million vibrant Latinos who live, work and play in Colorado, our vision is actually quite simple—we are here to unite. We do so by working hand-in-hand with Latino Coloradans across our diverse communities. And when all Latinos feel equally empowered to forge our path, our collective power advances. As one of our Forum attendees said last September, “We don't have to be afraid of taking the first step to becoming a leader.” This groundbreaking work is only possible through the immense support of you—our LCFC family. You strengthen our work through your donations, your volunteer hours, your insights and your leadership capabilities. As we step into a new decade, we know we can only achieve a future where Latino communities throughout Colorado are actively and powerfully involved in all facets of our state and reaping the rewards of our many contributions. Thank you for joining us on this journey. Gracias,

Gloria Schoch LCFC Board Chair

Carlos Martinez LCFC President and CEO
