Welcome!
Hey! We’re Michael and Giulia Tolar Based out of North Texas, we ’ re the couple behind the cameras on your big day, very much in love with each other and always laughing and giving each other funny looks and little kisses Michael has filmed or photographed 150+ weddings since 2015, and when we got married in 2022, we joined forces to become the world’s best wedding photographers and videographers (trust us, we asked our moms and they confirmed)
But seriously, we LOVE weddings We believe marriage is one of God’s greatest gifts to us, and weddings are a celebration of that gift Your wedding is the first day of one of God’s greatest gifts to you! And we can’t get enough of couples who are crazy in love On your big day, you’ll find us encouraging you to be goofy, flirty, romantic, and focused on each other – always working hard to help you forget we ’ re there so the authenticity of your relationship makes its way to your photos and footage
We are creative documentarians! We style our work to represent the mood, character, energy level and vibe of your wedding You’ll find our films are generally chronological, narrative-driven, and emotive – quiet when you ’ re quiet, building when you build, and dropping epic dance moves when you do Our photography is true-to-life and not overlycolorized or dramatically edited We love warmth, contrast, and sunset colors, but we can rock that light and airy style too
During the week, Michael designs camera accessories as a mechanical engineer, and Giulia teaches high school broadcast and photography When we ’ re not working the dance floor at your wedding or working our day jobs, you’ll find us somewhere in the world, trying to check off one of our endlessly deep bucket list of new places to explore with each other

We typically start 3-5 hours before your ceremony and stay until your exit, but we’ll work with you to make the perfect timeline

What is our turnaround time?
Documentary style
Other wedding vendors have described us as being a “fly on the wall ” We’re unobtrusive, but we don’t miss a moment
Cohesive team
We only work with people we’d trust to shoot our own wedding If we bring extra help, we guarantee it’ll be with people we trust
We try to deliver wedding films and photo galleries within three months of your wedding day, and wedding film teasers are delivered within two weeks
Wedding films, teasers, and documentaries - what’s the difference?
Think of your wedding film like a cinematic movie, a teaser like a movie trailer, and a documentary like an extended home video Your wedding film will be set to music, and will include the best audio selections from your ceremony, private letter readings, toasts, and anything else we record Your teaser will be about a minute long, and you’ll receive it within 2 weeks of your wedding date Documentaries tend to be about an hour long, are compiled in chronological order, and are accompanied by the natural audio from your wedding day
Do we shoot drone footage?
We sure do! As long as the weather is favorable, we have time before the ceremony, and your venue isn’t in or near a restricted area (like an airport), we try to fly our drone at every wedding, and we don’t charge any extra for it
How will we deliver your photos or films?
Photos and films are delivered via personalized, password-protected digital galleries There, you can download photos and film deliverables, share with friends, and order prints
Do we travel or shoot destination weddings?
We love to travel! For weddings >100 one-way miles of travel, a fee of $ 50 per driving mile plus $200 per hotel night required will be added Need us to fly? Let’s chat so we can secure deets We’re SO down
How do we secure your date?
To secure your date, we require a 50% deposit and a signed contract Payment in full is required 2 weeks after your wedding date We are also happy to arrange payment plans!
