What is artisan glass?
Artisan glass, (a.k.a kiln-formed or fused glass), is crafted by heating glass in a kiln using molds. This process creates unique textures and designs, from organic patterns to precise geometric shapes.
Whether bespoke or standard, every piece of our glass reflects beauty and craftsmanship.

Thickness
Our artisan glass comes in thicknesses from 4mm to 12mm, allowing you to choose the right strength and style for your design. See the glass thicknesses by color on page 22.
Your design
Design your own pattern or let us do the design for you. If you need help with a custom design, we’ll collaborate closely with you. Read more on page 22.

Customization
Sandblasting
Artisan glass can be sandblasted on either side. Sandblasting the patterned side results in a shinier finish, while sandblasting the smoother side gives the glass a more lively and vibrant, textured appearance.
Colored films
Add a colored film to artisan glass. You can choose to add a custom colored film, or select from our standard options, such as 3M films. One of our most requested films is Blaze, which gives the glass a stunning “rainbow” effect. It's important to note that the film will remain visible on the surface, and should be taken into consideration during the design phase.
Backpainting
You can get a back-painted finish with your glass and a custom color from the RAL chart. Backpainted artisan glasses are a great fit for various furniture solutions, including bar counters, reception desks, and kitchen cabinets.

Create bespoke designs based on models, drawings, or CAD images.
Edge finishing
We offer gloss edge grinding for both straight and custom-shaped glasses. We offer polished edge finishes for added durability and beauty, along with custom cutouts for handles, hinges, and other attachments to ensure a perfect fit for your design.
Specifications
Weight of the glass
Glass weighs approximately 2.5 kg per square meter per millimeter of thickness. For example, an 8mm thick glass door measuring 9x21 will weigh 37.8 kg.
Delivery time
Our standard production time is 6-8 weeks, plus delivery time. For larger orders, delivery times are confirmed based on our production schedule All pieces are handcrafted in our six fusing kilns

Designed by You
If you have a design ready, you can send it to us in a PDF or similar format. Once we review it and confirm feasibility, we’ll provide a quote. After approval, we create a test piece, finalize the design, and prepare the mold. The glass is fused, tempered for safety, and finished with edge grinding for durability and beauty. Finally, the completed glass is delivered to you.
Designed by Us
If you need help creating a custom design, we’ll work closely with you. After discussing your vision, our master artisan will design a piece that fits your project. The process includes two design rounds, with additional options available by mutual agreement. Once the design is finalized, we follow the same production steps as with a provided design. From concept to completion, we ensure that your custom artisan glass is perfectly crafted to meet your project’s needs.
