Before your treatment…
• 24 hours before, avoid alcohol or blood thinners (like aspirin) to reduce your risk of bruising.
• The morning of, avoid caffeine and eat a full, nutritious meal to decrease your chance of lightheadedness.
After your treatment…
• For 4 hours after, remain upright and avoid touching, manipulating or applying any pressure to the treated area.
• For 24 hours after, avoid direct heat and sweat—including steam rooms, saunas, and exercising.
• For 2 weeks after, avoid facials, vigorous scrubbing, massaging or aggressive exfoliating in the area treated.

WHAT TO EXPECT
Ready to go under the needle? Here’s what you can expect based on the average patient experience:
• Treatment length: Under 30 minutes, depending on the number of areas being treated.
• Downtime: None! Go about your day immediately after.
• Discomfort factor: Minimal to moderate. You’ll just feel a slight pinprick, nothing more.
• Real results: You’ll see results from neuromodulators typically within a few days, with peak effectiveness 2 weeks post-treatment. Results will last 2-4 months (depending on dosage, as well as your metabolism), and then it will be time for your next treatment.
THE SCIENCE BEHIND THE TREATMENT
Made of Botulinum Toxin, Botox & Xeomin work by attaching themselves to your nerve endings, blocking the release of acetylcholine, a neurotransmitter that’s responsible for triggering your muscles’ contractions. This causes your muscles to relax, and the fine lines and wrinkles on your skin to smooth away.
