START OF YEAR 1 PILOT- SEPTEMBER 2019

Thirty-six (36) 7th-grade students residing in Mountain View and surrounding areas were enrolled in the programme. These students were selected based on their vulnerability to poverty and criminality as well as their academic, behavioural and psychological needs.

Based on their profiles, students are provided with various forms of targeted and untargeted assistance spanning financial, nutritional, behavioural/psychological support; girls and boys mentorship, parental support, gender-based violence interventions and character and social development programmes.

Students are monitored using individualized development plans and assessments which measure their academic performance, behaviour, psychological profile and attendance to school and these programmes:

Youth Community and Outreach Programme
