After enjoying unprecedented success since launching last year, SEKO’s LS100 laundry system has been nominated as one of the cleaning and hygiene sector’s finest innovations of the past 12 months at the Tomorrow’s Cleaning Awards 2024.

From a shortlist compiled by industry experts and voted for by professionals worldwide, this impressive placing recognises LS100’s impact on the laundry sector, with its ultra-low maintenance requirement, Bluetooth connectivity and intuitive controls making it a game changer for discerning operators.

LS100’s nomination follows previous finalist placings for SEKO products at the annual Tomorrow’s Cleaning Awards including the Wash Series laundry units (2022) and WareDose 35 warewash system (2023).

SEKO UK’s new office officially opens

January saw the official opening ceremony for SEKO UK’s new office and warehouse building as the region enters the latest exciting chapter in its history.

SEKO UK Country Manager Richard Burnikell was joined by President Alessandro Folio and Regional Sales Manager Domenico Antico to cut the ribbon on the new facility, which houses managerial, sales, finance and technical functions along with a first-class training centre and dedicated warehouse space.

Based in Bishop’s Stortford, Hertfordshire, the complex is perfectly located for quick access to road, rail and air links, allowing SEKO UK to welcome visitors from around the world to discover our latest innovations and make long-lasting partnerships.

SEKO President Alessandro Folio joins the UK team in Bishop’s Stortford to celebrate a new era

Introducing engineers to LS100 and more

SEKO UK’s new home hosted one of its first training sessions with the visit of a group of senior technicians from sustainable cleaning products specialist BioVate® Hygienics.

Hosted by Sales Manager Mark Lester and Technical Manager Michael Tanner, BioVate® Hygienics’ engineers were on site to receive training on our LS100 laundry dosing system and IoT-empowered WareDose warewash pumps. These solutions have transformed the cleaning and hygiene industry by combining SEKO’s trusted chemical dosing precision with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity to deliver unprecedented operational control.

And, with this bespoke training session, BioVate® Hygienics can educate its customers and help them get the most from their SEKO systems.

Application-specific training at HQ

Earlier this year, SEKO welcomed a group of customers to our Rieti headquarters for exclusive in-depth training on our chemical dosing pumps and control systems for water-treatment applications.

Rieti, Italy

During their visit, these technicians – based in the Triveneto area of northern Italy – were introduced to SEKO’s solutions for the control of legionella in evaporative cooling towers.

As well as fully integrated panel systems and chemical dosing pumps such as the motor-driven Kosmo range, the visitors were shown state-of-the-art flow-rate sensors and other instrumentation that provides high-precision measurement of essential water-quality parameters.

That’s not to mention SEKO’s IoT-enabled devices that allow users to remotely access live and historical process data on demand 24/7 via smart device, PC or laptop, with these solutions helping engineers around the world to transform the way they work.

Luxury spa gets the SEKO treatment

When the operators of a new luxury spa resort in Hungary required chemical dosing systems for their indoor swimming pools, SEKO was commissioned to deliver a bespoke solution.

After being invited to assess the application, SEKO’s technical team recommended our Kontrol Guard Fort control panel as the ideal system to achieve accurate, reliable pH regulation even at peak times.

Kontrol Guard Fort is a complete panel system for swimming pool water treatment, integrating essential components including pH controller, probe holder and chlorine dosing pumps into a single wall-mounted solution.

With four units installed, commissioned and fully operational, the spa is now ready to open its doors to discerning clients from across Hungary and beyond.

IoT in focus at HCJ 2024

HCJ 2024 saw the SEKO Japan team welcome old friends and new faces to our eye-catching stand to discover the latest innovative chemical dosing, dilution and dispensing products from our cleaning and hygiene range.

Held at Tokyo Big Sight, this specialist exhibition for the hospitality and catering sector was the perfect platform for us to showcase our solutions for hotels, restaurants and other food-service sites such as enzyme drain-dosing systems DrainOne and DrainDose Kompact.

Also on display were our IoT-enabled WareDose 35 warewash dosing system and a range of surface-cleaning solutions including ProMax and ProMini dilution units alongside the ever-popular ProFoam-R spray station.

Hydrakos pumps range launched
