Delivering multi-product solutions for a new-build nursing home

Serving the site’s on-premise laundry is our groundbreaking LS100 dosing system, injecting precise volumes of detergent, softener and additive into two washers to ensure excellent results every time while minimising chemical and water consumption.
For spray bottle and mop bucket filling, the operator has installed two of our trusted ProMax chemical dilution units,
used in surface-cleaning applications the world over to ensure quick, easy and accurate dispensing.
Finally, there are multiple ProSink systems being used to dispense pre-mixed detergent and sanitiser solutions directly into sinks, ensuring cookware and crockery is spotlessly clean and safe while protecting staff from harsh concentrated chemicals.
Cooling water treatment for ¥2 billion AI centre
The Baidu Cloud IDC Centre, based in Dingxing City within China’s Hebei province, is a 135-acre AI and 5G cloud computing hub home to 120,000 servers –a vital piece of infrastructure that will provide efficient, stable and reliable IT and data storage services.
The constant operation of these servers necessitates dedicated cooling-water systems which, in turn, require treatment systems to prevent corrosion, scaling and microbiological growth.
SEKO China has been supporting the construction of this development with the provision of 74 Kontrol 50 controllers and probes, each serving a ZTE cooling tower with high-precision conductivity measurement.

SEKO India officially opens
As part of SEKO’s commitment to customers across Asia, we’re pleased to announce the official opening of SEKO India, our newest subsidiary and 23rd in total.
This new facility, located in Maharashtra, houses sales and technical support for our latest chemical dosing innovations serving cleaning and hygiene and water-treatment processes.
As well as the Indian market, SEKO India will support customers across Pakistan and Afghanistan with plans to serve Bangladesh in the future.
Heading up this new branch is Santosh Gawade, SEKO India Country Sales Manager,
who will oversee a team combining local expertise with a globally trusted product range for an exceptional customer experience.

Spring PS2 supports airport water-treatment system
For many years, SEKO has served a major European airport with polymer-preparation solutions to allow effluent to be properly treated prior to discharge.
The polymer dosing process is performed by SEKO’s motor-driven Spring pumps, which offer consistent performance across a range of flow rates and are perfectly suited to water-treatment processes.
Having served the site with exceptional performance, the five pumps had reached the end of their lifespan and were ready for replacement.
These products were swapped out for five Spring PS2 plunger piston pumps, with these systems’ hydraulic characteristics providing a larger piston size and longer stroke length to enable flow rate and power to change.
Supplied as standard with a 3-phase motor, Spring PS2 pumps take their name from a spring-loaded mechanism, housed within an aluminium casing rated for IP55 ingress protection.
With this water-treatment solutions in place, airport management can guarantee the quality of its discharged water, protect local wildlife and enhance its drive towards sustainable growth.
Higiexpo 2024 | 13 – 15 August | Sao Paulo, Brazil
Higiexpo 2024 was held in Sao Paulo, Brazil this month, where visitors got to discover SEKO’s latest dosing, dilution and dispensing solutions for essential applications such as surface cleaning, laundry and warewash.
Meanwhile, the site operator benefits from the Spring pumps’ compatibility with our IoT-empowered Elektra controller, which enables 24/7 process control via the SekoWeb smartphone app.

Tunnel laundry dosing solution
SEKO is one of the few suppliers to the laundry sector with a comprehensive product portfolio serving equipment of every size, from small washers to the largest industrial systems.
That’s why, with a linen demand of 20 tonnes per day, the operator of this German industrial laundry turned to SEKO for a proven chemical dosing capable of serving their continuous batch washer with precise, consistent detergent injection.

Promoting from within for sustained success
It was time to celebrate at SEKO Benelux when Marcel Olthuis was promoted to the position of General Manager as the subsidiary evolves to meet the changing needs of customers across Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg.
Having worked at SEKO Benelux for two years since joining the business as Account Manager, Mr Olthuis’s dedication, hard work and success saw him rewarded with this vital role by Regional Sales Manager Domenico Antico.
In his new position, Mr Olthuis will assume overall responsibility for operations in the Benelux region, continuing to develop the business across both the cleaning and hygiene and water-treatment sectors.
Mr Olthuis said: “I want to thank Domenico and the SEKO board for having trust in me. Together with the SEKO Benelux team we are going to develop the market further and remain the partner of choice for chemical dosing solutions.
