SEKO product training for HEPRO laundry specialists

Remote process management and sustainability were on the agenda when SEKO Germany recently visited laundry specialist HEPRO near Bern in Switzerland to deliver training on our awardnominated Wash Series chemical dosing systems.

Oliver Kropp, SEKO General Manager for the DACH region, was invited to demonstrate the revolutionary operational benefits of the Wash Series’ IoT-enabled remote control to HEPRO’s technical and sales teams.

These include the ability to monitor and manage dosing from any location via PC, laptop or smart device along with live and historical date on demand including invaluable cost-per load statistics.

Meanwhile, HEPRO personnel were interested to learn about SEKO’s unique support in the DACH region (Germany, Austria and Switzerland) which sees us deliver our comprehensive service sales team, technical support, back office and accounting offering across Central Europe.

New case study: IoT laundry upgrade

SEKO USA has for many years been established as one of America’s leading manufacturers of chemical dosing solutions for on-premise, commercial and industrial laundry applications.

So, when cleaning products specialist Imperial Dade wanted to upgrade a laundry’s detergent injection systems to incorporate IoT technology, who else but SEKO to supply the industry’s most sophisticated equipment?

SEKO attends key food-industry event

As part of SEKO’s commitment to keeping our systems at the forefront of the market’s needs, we attend exhibitions around the world where we meet with customers and discuss the challenges they face in their daily operations.

That’s why SEKO’s Jody Bowman (UK WaterTreatment Sales Manager) and Domenico Antico (Regional Sales Manager) visited the recent British Pig & Poultry Fair at Birmingham’s NEC, where professionals from across the sector were gathered to discover the latest product innovations and share ideas for the industry’s future.

Mr Bowman and Mr Antico enjoyed meeting with customers, partners and prospects of the pig, poultry and egg markets in which SEKO is actively involved with the

development of cutting-edge solutions including solenoid dosing pumps, waterdriven pumps and control systems.

Discussions centred on the challenges of increasing costs amid difficult economic circumstances, and SEKO’s representatives were happy to explain the financial benefits of our IoT-enabled systems.

These solutions offer remote device management via the SekoWeb app and online portal, meaning operators can control and monitor their applications anytime, anywhere for immediate dosing adjustments and unrivalled insight into process cost and system status.

SEKO Germany delivers cleaning and hygiene systems training Lake Constance

When a large European chemical manufacturer based on Lake Constance wanted to discover the latest innovations in chemical dosing for warewash and laundry applications, they invited SEKO Germany to their headquarters to demonstrate the company’s world-leading innovations.

Representing SEKO was Oliver Kropp, General Manager for the DACH region, who introduced the company’s managing director and technicians to the award-nominated WareDose range and its high-precision detergent and rinseaid dosing for commercial dishwashers.

Mr Kropp also delivered a presentation on LS100, SEKO’s revolutionary venturi-based dosing system for on-premise laundry, explaining how the product’s unique design allows operators to achieve exceptional performance alongside minimal maintenance requirement.

There was also time to explain how these IoTenabled systems enable users to access live and historic wash data on demand via PC, laptop or smart device for unprecedented efficiency and insight into process cost.

A transformative laundry solution for Uniwasher Miami

During a visit to Uniwasher laundry in Miami, Florida, the SEKO USA team revolutionised the site’s setup by replacing a four-pump peristaltic system with our innovative LS100.

The highlights include:

• Simplicity: Transitioned from four systems to a single LS100 unit, significantly reducing connections and streamlining operations.

• Efficiency: LS100 efficiently serves four washers, can handle up to 10 chemicals and is programmable for 31 formulas.

• Low maintenance: The venturi-based LS100 requires minimal upkeep, with easyto-clean filters and venturis being the only maintenance required.

• No moving parts: LS100’s design features no moving parts, further reducing the need for maintenance and component replacement.

• Integrated IoT: The SekoBlue app and online platform simplifies programming, including washer programming for various scenarios such as AFS duration, AFS binary, relay and manual formula selection for washers with different sizes.

SEKO releases Kontrol 102-Modbus

At SEKO, we place great value in customer feedback, which allows us to develop systems that meet the market’s everchanging needs and remain at the forefront of innovation.

Therefore, in such plants a Modbus interface is of greater value to the user than a WiFi hotspot, which led to the development of the new Kontrol 102-Modbus doubleparameter controller.

Kontrol 102-Modbus is designed for the measurement of pH, ORP, conductivity, flow rate and oxygen in high-end watertreatment applications, with functions that facilitate operation of processes as varied as reverse osmosis and cooling water treatment.

While this new product is focused on Modbus functionality, users looking to instead manage it remotely via the SekoWeb app and online platform can easily achieve this via connection to a SEKO KommSpot or KommBox system.

SEKO shines at CleanEx 2024

CleanEx 2024 is over for another year, and SEKO UK is looking back at a hugely successful two days showcasing our laundry dosing solutions to the industry’s most discerning professionals.

CleanEx, held at Ascot Racecourse, Berkshire, was the ideal platform to introduce visitors to all the features of LS100, which launched last year to an incredible reception around the world.
