Since 1976, SEKO has delivered unmatched chemical dosing precision, consistency, and reliability to the water-treatment and cleaning and hygiene industries. Our next-generation pump solutions revolutionise process management, enabling operators to achieve superior performance, efficiency and sustainability.
Welcome to the latest issue of SEKO World, your bi-monthly insight into the global operations of a leading chemical dosing and dilution systems manufacturer.
This edition includes a visit to a major Colombian food and beverage industry exhibition, with the South American theme continuing as staff from our Brazil office joined a SEKO Mexico delegation at company headquarters in Rieti, Italy.
There are also examples of SEKO systems installed and in use within cleaning and hygiene and watertreatment applications, from warewash dosing in France to cooling water treatment in Spain and more. Enjoy the issue.

The team at SEKO headquarters in Rieti, Italy welcomed colleagues from Brazil, Mexico and Colombia in June as we solidify working relationships that have been made and developed remotely, with a warm welcome and in-person meetings within the hub of our global operation.
SEKO sales and logistics specialist Marco D’Aquilio highlighted the value of such visits: “Working together every day across different countries is something we often take for granted. But meeting in person reminds us that behind every email, call, and Teams meeting, there are people.
“These moments help build trust, strengthen collaboration, and create connections that make working together even more effective.

“A big thank you for their visit, their openness, and the positive energy they brought. Looking forward to many more opportunities to connect, both professionally and personally.”
Visitors included SEKO Brasil Key Account Manager André Possan, who received an in-depth training course on the company’s structure, processes and organisational culture.
After completing the 12,000-mile round trip, Mr Possan was full of praise for his hosts: “I thank SEKO for the opportunity to visit its headquarters in Italy and for the excellent reception. It was an incredible experience to get to know the company’s structure, processes, and organisational culture up close. The hospitality and professionalism of the team reinforce the excellence that SEKO demonstrates globally. We take the memories of this visit and the certainty of increasingly solid partnerships. Thank you for your trust and welcome.”
SEKO Iberica was recently commissioned to develop a new measuring and dosing skid for a cooling tower water treatment application, with a brief for multi-parameter measurement and IoT connectivity.
Led by SEKO Iberica’s Technical Manager Didac Fontanals, the team at the Spanish branch –based in Barcelona – got to work on a customised solution featuring five solenoid-driven Tekna TPG chemical dosing pumps.
These multifunction pumps offer proportional dosing to an analogue or digital frequency signal as well as PPM, timer and batch modes among others plus flow rate up to 110 litres per hour.
For overall management of the measuring (pH, turbidity, conductivity and temperature) and dosing function, SEKO fitted our new Kontrol 1000 CT, a state-of-the-art controller designed specifically for cooling water treatment applications.

Kontrol 1000 CT allows the operator to programme two independent bi-weekly dosing cycles for maximum control and treatment effectiveness, with the system also enabling management of purge cycles, inhibitor dosing and bleed valve functions.
As well as RS485 Modbus communication for seamless PLC integration, Kontrol 1000 is compatible with SekoWeb for on-demand remote monitoring and configuration via PC or smart device, so the operator can check performance and make programming changes in an instant.
That includes built-in functionality to track calibration schedules, ensuring accuracy and reliability in preventative maintenance planning.
Kontrol 1000 CT features a high-resolution TFT LCD graphic display showing up to nine measurements simultaneously, making real-time monitoring simple and intuitive. These intelligent features are housed within an IP66-rated ABS enclosure, providing durability in challenging industrial environments.

SEKO’s excellent relationship with EW Tech continued as we supplied chemical dosing solutions for a pig farm project at Porcícola La Fabiola in Pereira, western Colombia.
With 5,400 pigs on site at any one time, drinking water quality had to be consistently high to protect animal welfare and prevent the spread of disease – a common challenge faced in the livestock sector.
The project centred around ensuring the prevention of biofilm development. Biofilm is an accumulation of microorganisms that attach to one another on a surface and form a slimy substance which acts as a barrier to disinfectants. In this drinking water application, the presence of biofilm would be extremely harmful to livestock health.

With this packaged solution in place, the operator does not need to make assumptions about drinking water quality, helping to protect the health of livestock across the site.

EW Tech’s solution was an electrochemical activation system for the generation of hypochlorous acid (HOCl), allowing it to be produced on site and removing the need for chemical transport and the risk of overdosing.
Designed to eliminate the development and spread of drinking water-related disease at source, the system eliminates biofilm throughout the distribution network, reduces water-borne infection and prevents mortality at every stage of the cycle.
SEKO’s product package included three solenoiddriven Tekna dosing pumps for precise chemical dosing, plus a high-spec Kontrol 102 control unit. Kontrol 102 enables access to the unique SekoWeb app, providing the operator with ondemand parameter data such as pH, ORP and temperature values via smart device for invaluable real-time application insight.

SEKO Colombia headed to Bogota to exhibit at Alimentec 2026 – a leading event for the food and beverage sector, including the hospitality and catering markets. As a major manufacturer of chemical dosing and dilution systems for kitchen environments, the show was the perfect chance for the local SEKO team to demonstrate our range to industry professionals from South America and further afield.
SEKO had every base covered, starting with a selection of surface-cleaning solutions such as the modular ProMax and ProMini systems. These products allow users to deliver a precise, consistent dose of diluted, ready-to-use chemical into spray bottles, mop buckets and floor scrubbers in kitchens and janitorial settings of all sizes.
There was also a chance to see the ever-popular ProTwin system – a two-product wall-mounted spray station for achieving excellent cleaning coverage to HACCP food safety standards – and ProKart, a mobile option for large-scale foam cleaning in multiple locations.
Along with laundry favourites WashMulti Solenoid and the award-winning LS100, SEKO displayed a system from the WareDose range, a family of warewash dosing units that includes compatibility with our SekoWeb app for unrivalled control of chemical measurement and monitoring.
And with commercial kitchens facing the ongoing challenge of grease, oil and fat clogging drainage pipes, we showcased DrainOne, an invaluable,

cost-effective solution that periodically dispenses an enzyme-based chemical into drain lines to prevent these substances from accumulating and causing blockages.
These solutions were hosted by a friendly delegation of SEKO Colombia professionals, who enjoyed a successful four days at the Corferias conference centre.

At SEKO, we are always proud to have our pump systems used in combination with other reputable brands – it’s a great compliment to be trusted with the dosing of high-quality chemicals in premiumgrade equipment.
This installation of our WareDose 35 warewash dosing unit is a prime example, as our long-term partner MJ PRO-SERVICES chose the system for the injection of detergent and rinse aid in a HOBART tunnel washer in France.
WareDose 35 is intended for heavy-duty commercial dishwashing and glasswashing operations, with its dual-pump design enabling precise, consistent dosing of chemical that helps deliver immaculate results while minimising chemical wastage.
Meanwhile, WareDose 35’s IoT functionality allows managers to have system status and live and historical chemical consumption data at their

fingertips for precise monitoring of cost-per load data.

Tecno Clean, based in Cordenons, north-east Italy, recently helped its client to elevate their onpremise laundry dosing setup with the installation of a SEKO LS100 system.
While high-quality chemicals are of course essential for achieving the highest wash standards, professional operators like Tecno Clean know that cleaning performance and consistency is only as good as the system dosing them.
That’s why they turned to the modular LS100, which doses at up to 1,300 ml/m and comes complete with a dedicated backlit formula selector unit and five-signal trigger interface, giving the operator complete command of their application.
With LS100 installed, the operator can dose as many as six chemicals into multiple washers, the system’s venturi-driven injection meaning not a drop of detergent is wasted. Meanwhile, precise calibration via SEKO’s state-of-the-art software optimises chemical contact time for the perfect wash every time.
The installation of our LS100 system has made significant improvements to the end-user’s

operation courtesy of reduced chemical, water and energy wastage, which has allowed them to cut costs while enhancing sustainability.
