It is in a residential area, with industrial buildings towards the northeast. Construction nearby for new high density housing.

I incorporated the idea of seating around the playground area to allow parents to sit at a short distance from theire children while they play
I liked the idea of different levels of topography in this park and decided to use that idea in my park.

I used the idea of bench placement following the shape of planting boxes to create a more organic look in my design. Looking into the small, underappreciated grassy area in the back of the city has led to a redesign of the park and the creation of a playground and space that is open and available for children and parents and any passerby’s. The purpose of the park is to revitalise the life of the community by use of colour and nature.
I really enjoyed the playful look of this park and tried to achieve it in my own design.
