LETTER FROM THE
Chairman
Chamber Members and Friends,
By this point most of us are back to our traditional school schedule. Longer travel times, structure family schedules, high school and college football games.
I hope all of this is going well for you and your family. I encourage you to take a moment from the busyness and with gratitude appreciate the daily opportunities that we are gifted with. Our chamber continues to remain busy ensuring that we are all given the opportunity to fulfill our goals, support the community and create new connections.
Thanks to all of you who supported the “First Responder Golf Tournament and Chili Cook-off on Sept 15”. We were blessed with great weather and many organizations came together to honor those who “get there first”.
Please participate on the events coming-up. We have the following:
1. Fall Festival with City of La Porte Oct. 8
2. Purse Bingo November 10
Get involved, participate and grow with us. “The best way to learn more about what others do is to spend time with them”
God Bless and stay safe,
Nelson Rodriguez

of the Month
For the month of September, the La Porte-Bayshore Chamber of Commerce wishes to recognize Fischers Hardware La Porte as the Business of the Month!
Fischers focuses on continuing the great customer service their customers are accustomed to every single day. They pride themselves on being your neighborhood solution store to help you work through every project, and they even host workshops, like teaching our young entrepreneurs how to build their own lemonade stand for Lemonade Day!
Big enough to serve our community, but small enough to care about helping each individual with all their hardware demands, Fischers is your local home improvement destination!
to Fischers Hardware La Porte! You are an asset to our citizens!
