General practical information Pick Up Times: All experiences are guided in English and include transfers to/from your hotel. Pick-up times and meeting points vary by programme and will be confirmed at booking. Winter Clothing: Unless stated otherwise, winter outdoor activities include winter clothing, boots, and gloves, provided at the start of the activity and returned at the end. For extra comfort throughout your stay, we recommend hiring a winter clothing set for the full duration — delivered directly to the hotel. Weather, Safety & Changes: Outdoor activities depend on weather, snow, ice, safety, and animal welfare conditions. Northern Lights Experiences
Magic of the Northern Lights* A peaceful evening in a beautiful forest setting with an open view to the northern sky. Around the fire, guests enjoy hot drinks and Lappish snacks while the guide shares northern lights facts, stories, and mythology. In autumn, the still water may offer a beautiful chance to see the auroras reflected on the lake surface. Road to Aurora A flexible aurora hunt by car, guided by weather forecasts, cloud conditions, and local knowledge. The guide chooses the most promising direction for the evening, with stops at selected viewing locations. Arctic Reindeer Expedition A classic Lapland reindeer experience in a peaceful forest setting. Guests enjoy a 25–30 minute sleigh ride at the reindeer’s natural pace, followed by time to meet and feed the reindeer, take photos, and hear stories about reindeer life and traditional herding. The experience ends in a cosy kota Lappish hut with hot drinks and biscuits by the fire. The Husky Forest Escape (10 km) Available January 11 – March 31 A longer 10 km self-driven husky safari for guests who want a deeper mushing experience. The route allows guests to settle into the rhythm of the dogs, the sled, and the snowy forest. After the safari, guests can meet the dogs and warm up with hot drinks and biscuits. Husky on Wheels: Autumn Adventure Tour Available October 1 – November 30 An autumn husky cart ride through forest trails. Instead of a sled, guests travel in a wheeled cart driven by a professional husky guide. The experience includes a 4– 5 km scenic ride, time to meet the dogs, and insight into husky training and mushing culture. Kindly note: outdoor clothing is not provided. The mirrorglazed exterior ensures privacy, while the wood-heated stove creates soft, moist steam inside the sauna.
