Circular economy crosscuts the education pallet of Lapland UAS. RDI and education are well integrated together.

• Cricular infrastructure materials • Industrial side flows • Winter road maintenance • Low carbon self-sufficient communities • Proactive collaborative maintenance • Sustainable wood mobilization • New products from the forest • From biowaste to raw material • Arctic wood building • Digital solutions for bioeconomy • and several others

Multi-format on-line-studies are widely favoured including evening and weekend studies.

Learning is organised around projects or complex tasks. Most of the degree programmes are work-oriented. E.g. projects or tasks can be planned together with companies, therefore students have the possibility to solve real-life problems.
