LAPFCU’S SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM 2021 scholarship applications are now available at any LAPFCU branch and at lapfcu.org/ scholarship-program. Please submit your application to a branch in person or postmarked

by April 1. Eight $4,500 awards and one $6,000 grand prize will be awarded. Winners will be notified on or before May 1.

This year’s scholarship application essay topic is: “The past year saw unprecedented levels of tension among law enforcement, communities, and politicians. Describe solutions that can help ease tensions within our society while preserving public safety, trust, fairness, and peace officer morale.”

Scholarships will be awarded based upon combination of GPA, extracurricular activities, scholastic awards and achievements, community involvement and a written essay. All entries must be postmarked by April 1, 2021 to be considered.
