La APDM expresa: “Nuestro objetivo no es llegar a un público elitista, o a ciertos barrios, sino captar a la población en general de la ciudad de La Paz, llegar hasta ella con una misión claramente pedagógica, yendo más allá de la motivación puramente comercial.

Pretendemos crear una cultura de la moda propia para la ciudad, que influya en los usos y costumbres del vestir de sus habitantes”.

Chasing the dream that La Paz city had a fashion show with its own styke reflecting our culture, the need of dreasing with an interpretation of the design that fits the weather conditions and the singular idiosincrasy and diferent like the high plateau, finihing november 2017 APDM was born under the direction of the designer Brigida Vidangos of the brand Bravia.

fields like gastronomy, tourism or promoting the cultural legacy held in our traditions.

The APDM say: “The main reason to found the APDM is to give back the city somtehing that we believe is forgotten, identity in dressing wich is defined in other cities including our own country. We don´t try to reach an elitist audience, or just some neighboorhoods, but to catch all the the city in general with a clearly pedagogical mission, further from just commercial motivation.

We are trying to create an own fashion culture for our city that influences the customs and habits in dresing of its citizens”.

The Anniversary will be celebrated in the coming months with fashion events and the presence of leading fashion designers of the country.
