HISTORY STORIES CELEBRATING 70 YEARS OF ROXIE WEST This year, we proudly celebrate the 70th anniversary of our Roxie West dairy processing facility, a cornerstone of Shamrock’s growth and success in Arizona. Opened in 1956 on 10 acres of what was once sheep meadow, the facility was strategically built in anticipation of the future I-17 freeway and the opportunities it would bring. That vision quickly paid off. By the mid-1960s, Roxie West had helped expand Shamrock’s reach to 35% of Arizona’s dairy market, supporting decades of growth, innovation, and service. As we mark this milestone, we honor the generations of associates whose hard work helped make Roxie West an important part of our history and continued success.

MARKON GENERAL SALES MEETING BRINGS THE FARMER’S MARKET TO THE TEAM
CARE INITIATIVE CELEBRATES & AWARDS ASSOCIATES
Shamrock Foods Colorado’s Markon-focused General Sales Meeting had a fresh twist this year with a farmer’s market in place of the usual vendor fair. The event was held in June at the Westin in Westminster and gave the team a chance to sample local produce, learn about new products, and pick up helpful ideas for bringing more produce into customer conversations. The meeting included breakout sessions, trivia games and special announcements from other valued Shamrock brands, as well as special guest, Polidori, at the grill firing up fresh sausages.
The CARE Initiative, which stands for Commitment, Awareness, Reporting, and Excellence, strives to recognize everyday actions that make the workplace safer, stronger, and more supportive. The program encourages associates to speak up when they see hazards, risks, concerns, or opportunities to improve while also providing a vehicle to celebrate team members who go above and beyond and help create a positive workplace culture. The program allows supervisors and managers to look for people doing the right thing and recognize those positive behaviors in the moment. Each month, eight associates are recognized—four from Day Shift and four from Night Shift—and each winner receives 50 STAR Points. Associates can be nominated multiple times each month, giving them more chances to be selected in the monthly drawing. CARE is one more way we can celebrate the people who help make safety, food safety, quality, and continuous improvement part of everyone’s day.
