LETTER FROM THE OWNERS

Landmark Construction and Development was founded in 2016 by Brandon Burgess and TJ Heath. Brandon has 13 years in the commercial construction industry and believed he could service the Southeast United States with quality, innovation, and results. TJ has spent 20 years working in many industries mastering business skills that bring experience and valuable wisdom to Landmark.

Our goal is to complete our projects under budget and within the proposed construction timeline, while meeting or exceeding the owner’s expectations for quality. Landmark is a full-service builder that puts our clients first. We can handle all of your design, new construction and/or renovation needs.

Our leadership team has over 60 years of experience in the construction industry. Our key personnel have completed over 3,500,000+ SF of tenant space in 8 different states. The end uses for these buildings have included apartment complexes, hospitality facilities, offices, warehouses/industrial, medical, retail, restaurant, religious, & recreational facilities.

Landmark operates out of Lake Oconee and Gray, Georgia while servicing the entire Southeastern United States. It is our honor to provide quality construction to our clients. You can trust that your project is in good hands with us.

Brandon and the team at Landmark recognized the complexity of creating a space unique to our needs as a medical office with a retail space. He even helped with the construction of interior fixtures that weren’t necessarily part of the project. He was a phone call away every time we needed him for anything throughout the building process and completed the project ahead of schedule.

He continues to drop by to see if we need anything from him and to be responsive to any issues we might have no matter how small they might be. We would use Brandon and the Landmark team for any future construction project and we highly recommend them.

This state of the art facility located on Lake Oconee Academy’s campus was built with the intent to offer students an artistic escape and a place for them to grow their creative abilities.

THE EXCHANGE APARTMENTS

This affordable luxury housing community located in Winder, Ga is closely located to work, school, shopping, and dining. Crafted with spacious floor plans, these apartments and townhomes are complete with a gorgeous pool.

I have over 25 years of experience, directly managing new construction and rehabilitation activities worth well over $1 Billion for universities, the US military, HUD, USDA, affordable housing and market rate projects in over 30 states and territories. I would put the Landmark team in the top 5 General Contracting firms that I have had the pleasure of dealing with. Brandon is very hands on and runs a very clean and organized jobsite from start to finish.

The team completed a 130 unit complex for KCG Development in Winder, GA last year and the project could not have gone any smoother.

Not only did Landmark complete the job 3+ months ahead of schedule, they kept us under budget and found ways to save us money when we really needed it.

One week into the project, we found out we had 12,000+ yards of bad dirt that the soil report missed. Brandon and his team found a solution that saved us $400,000 and weeks of time. He could have very easily presented us with the more expensive and easier option but he knew our project numbers would suffer. Throughout the entire project he kept us, his client, in mind when situations came up and helped us everywhere he could.

We are very proud of the work the team did for us. Landmark is KCG Development’s preferred contractor in the Southeast and I highly recommend them.
