Donation Registration Kiosks
Each year, there’s a greater need with more procedures being performed and outcomes that are continually improving Your gift of organs and tissues has the potential to benefit over 90 people currently waiting on lists in the state You’ll find the kiosks located near the front desk at both North Little Rock librares. The kiosks are available anytime during library hours.
The North Little Rock Public Library System is proud to partner with ARORA (Arkansas Regional Organ Recovery Agency) to help raise awareness and support for organ and tissue donation in Central Arkansas Becoming an organ and tissue donor has never been easier with the new kiosks located in the lobby of each North Little Rock Library location. With the new kiosk, all you need to do is scan the back of your driver’s license. You can sign up in less than 10 seconds, plus you ’ re given options on how your organ/tissues will be used. At any given moment, there are over 300 children and adults on the organ transplant waiting list in Arkansas. On average, another person is added to the list every 16 minutes. For those waiting, a donation can be a bridge to life that you can help build
