BOOK CLUBS

Bang-Up Book Club Bang-Up Book Club began last month and continues through the fall. Anyone can participate — just follow Bang-Up Betty on Instagram and Facebook to watch for clues that lead readers to jewelry designer Stacey Bower’s favorite titles on the shelves of Laman Library. Follow the clues, find the books and get biblio-centric gifts to take home when you check out!

Many random readers will also get nice surprises when they open books they’ve checked out from the Library.

Monday Mystery Club 6 p.m. Sept. 13 Megan is beginning a new virtual book club via Zoom to discuss The Mother-in-Law. Join through the link on our calendar at lamanlibrary.org.

Essence of Books 6 p.m. Sept. 28 Join the discussion of James McBride's Deacon King Kong via Zoom.
