BANG-UP BOOK CLUB

Bang-Up Book Club begins in August and continues through the fall. Anyone can participate— just follow BangUp Betty on Instagram and Facebook to watch for clues that lead readers to jewelry designer Stacey Bower’s favorite titles on the shelves of Laman Library.

Follow the clues, find the books and get biblio-centric gifts to take home when you check out! Many random readers will also get nice surprises when they open books they’ve checked out from the Library.

Humankind Exhibit held over through Sept. 10 Join us from 5 to 8 p.m. on Aug. 20 to meet the artists of Humankind, a free photography exhibit from the BlueEyed Knocker Photo Group. The show features work from 16 local artists documenting universal human conditions, including these by Casey Sanders (above) and Lily Ryall (below).
