f you’re up for a fun off-campus event that will also get you moving, consider the Color Run, a national event that comes to L.A each year. Known as the “Happiest 5k on

the Planet,” this untimed race is less about competition and more about having fun. Thousands of runners are splashed with color at each kilometer. The collection of runners form a colorful rainbow at the end of the race. At the finish line, runners are rewarded with a Finish Festival which includes a party with music, dancing and, of course, more splashes of color. All you need is some white clothing, a water bottle and a good attitude. Check online to see when the next event in L.A. is happening, grab your friends and get ready for an unforgettable experience.

Sign and city that surrounds it. A fun activity to do with friends and a great opportunity for a scenic workout, this hike is not something to miss out on. The trail is about a 40-minute drive from campus, and the hike is approximately four miles, depending on the route you choose. The dirt and pavement trails are relatively flat and not at all rigorous, making it possible for hikers at any skill level. Ending at the top of Mount Lee, enjoy the beautiful view and check this item off your L.A. bucket list.
