People should vote for me because I am an independent candidate and my only vested interest is as a community member. • BUSINESS - community and business at the centre of our decision-making so we can protect the integrity of our environment. • ACCOUNTABILITY AND

TRANSPARENCY - I am entirely committed to accountability and transparency to restore public trust. • STAFFING ISSUES - our staffi ng issues can be alleviated by advocating for some required skills to have less bureaucracy.

However, the latest staffi ng issues are exacerbated by housing issues. • HOUSING - QLDC should partner with other organisations in the community to create a more sustainable and inclusive housing market. • TRANSPORT AND ROADING - a robust public transport that is accessible, reliable and effi cient. Public transport that is not an alternative means of transport but a purposefully built primary means of transport. This also ties in with our climate change responsibility. • EMERGING FROM COVID PLAN - We should implement a plan to aid our businesses in regaining full operating capacity. • ECONOMIC DIVERSIFICATION - invest in education.
