In our everyday communications, we use people’s names and their pronouns. Pronouns are linguistic tools we use to refer to people, and they are integral to who we are. We often make assumptions about which pronouns people use based upon our cultural upbringing, past interpersonal interactions, and gender stereotypes. Family Farming Success for Future Generations Morning Session: Strategies for Family Farming Success in the Shark Tank of “WHAT IF” Most farm families realize the importance of implementing a contingency business plan for if and when something ever happens, but few ever accomplish this management goal.

No one wants to be in the “shark tank” facing a stressful situation like unexpected death, sudden illness, family dispute, loss of a key employee – situations rarely discussed, and usually avoided. But what if it does happen? Learn about the importance of implementing a business contingency planning process so that a farming operation continues when and if the unexpected actually happens.

Afternoon Session: Keeping Your Farm in the Family for Future Generations Without proper planning and effective communications, a lot of emotional stress can develop between family members when transferring the ownership of a family farm from one generation (parents) to the next generation (adult children). Underground Storage Tank Installer Underground Storage Tank (UST) installers will learn about regulations, consensus codes, recommended practices, plan preparations, and submittal procedures as they pertain to USTs.
