The LOW Veterans Club is proud to announce that the purchased bricks are now on display in front of the Clubhouse. That area will eventually be known as The Veterans Memorial Walkway. Each brick is individually created with personally developed messages including a selected emblem. The Veterans Club has received numerous compliments about the Photo provided The Veterans Club Veterans Memorial Walkway display. Please take time is now available for viewing. The structure reflects to visit and reflect on the each veteran’s personal identification on each service and sacrifice of our brick, but also includes individual bricks with the local veterans. The Veterans Club thanks dates of engagement and list number of casualties from the ten different armed conflicts that America the good people at Red Twig has been involved in. Landscaping for the free site preparation and installation of the memorial bricks. Specifically, owner Zsolt Frecska and his team cut out the old concrete, demolished the old monument, and prepared the base for installation of the bricks. They donated all their labor and supplies for this project. If you are interested in purchasing a brick ($50 for the 4”x 8” or $100 for the 8”x 8”), please visit the Veterans Club website at www.lowvets.club. Simply click on the Brick Project Update link and either download the form or go directly to the brick site and order online. Make your check payable to “LOW Vets Club” and mail to Mike Landers, 109 Green Spring Road, Locust Grove, VA 22508. All orders received by April 15 will be installed in time for the official dedication ceremony on Memorial Day, May 30. Final deadline for brick purchase is Dec. 31. The next scheduled meeting of the LOW Veterans Club is Thursday, April 28 in the lower level of the Clubhouse at 7 PM. Our guest speaker is Major General John M. Epperly, currently assigned as Deputy Commanding General at Army National Guard, U.S. Army Futures Command.
