Fitness Center: The Fitness Center boasts a wide selection of equipment encompassing both cardio and strength training. Exercise room available for stretching,traditional mat work and classes.

Walking Paths & Trails: There are many walking paths and roads in each section of LOW that are perfect for both walking and biking. There are also near by places for hiking. Our walking paths are located in the following areas: Clubhouse-Main Marina, Front Entrance Pond, Sweetbriar Park, Greensprings Park, Spotswood Park, Golf Course (when closed for play) and more.

Community Center & Campground

Members use the various rooms for programs.

Activities range from bridge and knitting to exercise and Pickleball. There is something for everyone!

We offer a seasonal campground for RVs and campers.

The Campground has four camper sites and limited sites for tent camping. The remaining campground area is primarily used for RV storage.

Summer pony camp is sold out this year, but we still have many ways to ride. Just book an appointment online to enjoy a trail ride or register for lessons.

Pickleball & Tennis Courts

540-972-9680 | WWW.LOWA.ORG/COURTS Courts are located at Hollyfield Park Hours of operation: 7 AM-11 PM To play Pickleball or Tennis: LOW members must pay either the daily or annual amenity fee. Pickleball courts must be reserved in advance. Tennis court access priority is given to those with reservations. Keys for the courts may be obtained at LOW Security. **NEW** Members can now pay for guests on-site with a credit card by scanning a QR code and paying via Square.

Summer Activities

Events & Concerts

Water Fitness at Clubhouse Pool This program is an energetic onehour workout beginning with a warm-up followed by stretching, 20-25 minutes of cardio, strengthening exercises with equipment and ending with the final stretching. The advantage of water workouts is the ability to work at your own pace and with no stress on your joints. In addition, one doesn’t sweat! All routines are choreographed to a variety of music-- something for everyone. Participants will be assigned equipment that will be theirs for the season and will be brought back and forth to class each session.

Water Fitness Season Pass fee (mandatory): $140.

Classes begin on June 13 and end on September 2, Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 9 AM and 10 AM. Daily drop-in classes are not offered.

LOW Barracudas Swim Team The LOW Barracudas Swim Team is open for all children and grandchildren of LOW residents who are ages 5-18 on June 1, 2022. The swim season runs from June 6-July 30. The team will have 6 swim meets on Wednesday evenings beginning on June 15 at Sweetbriar Pool. Check our website for registration information and team updates. www.

Youth Swim Lessons Winkler Pool Management will be providing both private and group swim lessons at Lake of the Woods this summer. Children will learn the essential skills needed to be confident and safe in and around the water. Our certified swim instructors will patiently work with children and provide a fun and engaging swim experience. LOW Water Ski Club The club is open to children and adults aged 7-80+.

Practices are held on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. We welcome all levels of skiers, but beginner spots are limited. For more information, contact lowskiclub@yahoo.com. Don't miss the July 2 ski show!

The LOW Golf Farm Team Learn to play golf in a fun, non-competitive environment. You’ll receive informal lessons and mentoring on the golf course. We meet at the LOW Golf Course from 4:30-6:30 PM, on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month (May 4-Sept. 28).

Cost is LGA or MGA dues.
