PRESIDENT'S

The Lakeland Area Chamber of Commerce is experiencing a revolution of growth and new business interest in our city, and it’s no surprise. Our chamber membership has grown substantially with the upstart of commercial development

taking place at different locations throughout the city. We are excited to welcome all the new businesses that have arrived and those that are on the way.

The City of Lakeland is anchored by one of the top-ranked school systems in the state of Tennessee. This has created a desirable environment for attracting families who desire a place to call home. As a result, the need for more business services has also been created. The relationship between our elected city officials, city staff, economic development stakeholders and the chamber of commerce is one that has our city moving in the same direction with common goals. As one of the youngest established suburbs of the Memphis/Shelby County area, we realize that we have just started to scratch the surface and cannot wait to see what the future holds.
