COVID-19 Guidelines Access to Lakeland campuses General statement At Lakeland, the health and safety of our community is our top priority. COVID-19 safety plans have been created to ensure fair and consistent processes are established to support employees, students and the public.

Overview This plan outlines guidelines for the gradual safe return of students, staff and the public to Lakeland’s campuses. The guidelines are subject to change to comply with the latest Alberta Health Services and Saskatchewan Health Authority guidelines specific to COVID-19. Last revision date: Sept. 10, 2020 Note: This plan applies to the Fall 2020 semester. Our priority is the wellbeing of our employees and students as in-person classes resume. Public access will be limited. These guidelines will be reviewed frequently to determine if changes are needed for the Fall 2020 semester and/or the Winter 2021 semester.

Lakeland academic schools and departments will strive to limit the number of external visitors on campus during the Fall 2020 semester. All employees, students and visitors should screen for symptoms using Lakeland’s Daily Assessment Tool before coming on campus. The tool is available at lakelandcollege.ca/covid19, the Lakeland app or the Lakeland Safe app. All employees, students and visitors must follow Lakeland’s COVID-19 protocol. Academic schools and departments that intend to invite contractors, vendors or visitors to campus must first submit a request to covid19@lakelandcollege.ca for review by the COVID-19 Public Access Subcommittee. Once the visit is approved, departments/academic schools are responsible for making visitors aware of and ensure they follow COVID-19 protocol. Please use the Visitor Safety Checklist to prepare the visitor to access Lakeland’s campuses. Visitors will only go to the area they are required to be at on campus.
