he Lake Land College Foundation has a vision – a vision to build brighter futures and stronger communities through education. Our vision is only made possible through the support of generous individuals who are committed to building resources for a prosperous future for our students, our College and our communities through excellence in education. t a time when rising tuition costs have driven the dream of a college education out of reach for many students, Lake Land College is proud to maintain one of the lowest tuition rates in the state of Illinois. Even so, we realize a Lake Land College education is still a heavy burden for many of our students and district residents. This knowledge strengthens our commitment to maintaining an affordable and accessible education for all district residents through the partnership and generosity of our many Foundation donors whose extraordinary support ensures that those most in need are able to pursue a college education. Through your unselfish act of giving, you help the single parent who is raising a family, going to school and maintaining part-time employment all at the same time. You help the laid off worker who came back to school for re-training in order to find a family-sustaining career in the local job market. Your generosity not only gives students like this access to education, it gives them hope – hope to realize their dreams and set an example for future generations.
