Candidates will learn to use analytical practices to critically review and critique data analysts have collected and studied regarding workplace stress. The course will provide participants with the knowledge and skills needed to understand and support a healthier lifestyle that includes both professional responsibilities and personal choices. Contents that will be covered include: burnout and turnover, the link between wellness and performance, and effects of stress on the heart, brain, weight, and relationships. Participants will learn what the data says about the current teaching force in America in regards to stress, red flags and warning signs, and resources and strategies to experience a healthier state of existence in the workplace. The course will provide educational professionals with the knowledge and skills needed to support individual and/or school wide wellness initiatives and best practices for preventing deteriorating health conditions. This is a 100% online asynchronous class and no face to face meetings are required to complete this course.

This course will take you through creating a data binder and the step-by-step process on how to complete student-led conferences What better way to learn how a student feels they are doing than by asking them? Students will reflect on their learning and lead their parent-teacher conferences, while you act as the facilitator. This course takes you through the preparation and reflection process that takes place prior to the conferences to ensure students are prepared. Grade Levels: Elementary.

This course will examine the foundations of social emotional learning and the impact SEL has on student behavior and achievement. This course will also examine best practices for classroom and schoolwide SEL implementation The participants will understand foundational tenets of social emotional learning and evidenced based research on the impact of SEL on student achievement and behavior. The participants will be able to assess the level of SEL implementation in the classroom/building and understand strategies for how to grow an SEL presence in their educational space.
