Our AA rosette awarded Brossen Steakhouse is all about spectacular steaks and stunning food served in relaxed surroundings. We put local produce front and centre of our menu; with a wide range of locally sourced produce and only the very best mouth-watering Cumbrian meat, all handpicked for amazing flavour. With wide open viewing windows right into the kitchen, you can watch our chefs grilling up a storm.
From juicy ribeye to tender chops, oak smoked rump to T-bone, rotisserie chicken and the ultimate wow-factor steak... the Tomahawk. Everything is cooked exactly to your taste and grilled to perfection. FRONT BAR
Über modern and invitingly chic, the Front Bar at the Inn on the Square is Keswick’s swankiest spot to unwind.
Overlooking the Market Square you can enjoy a lavishly tasty lunch, savour a handcrafted cocktail, traditional local ale or stylish afternoon tea. Your dog is also welcome.
Pull up a chair beside our fire whilst we pull you a pint, and delight in the Danish décor, modern Italian chandeliers plus a smidgen of colourful Cumbrian character. You may even spot a drawing by Willy Wilk on our walls in memory of a local cartoonist who used to draw pictures in return for a pint or two.
With drinks for every palate (including a huge selection of gins and vodkas) and a tasty menu of brunches, lunches, light bites and more, our Front Bar is the place to be from 10am until late.
The Back Bar can be found at the rear of the Inn on the Square and is a dog-loving, family-friendly traditional Lakeland pub providing comfortable drinks and easy meals from 10am until late.
You can grab a drink (or two) and watch live sports on our plasma TV’s whilst shooting some pool, throwing some darts or just relaxing by the roaring fire.
With regular live music, plus a huge selection of drinks, local ales and beers, it’s a great place for friends, families and laid-back nights out in Keswick.
