Welcome to Lake Catholic High School! Choosing a high school is one of the most important decisions a family will make. While academics, student activities, and athletics matter, I believe the most important question is, “Will my child belong here?” At Lake Catholic, belonging is more than a feeling. It is a commitment from both the parents and the school. We are a community rooted in our Catholic faith where students are known by their name, supported through their academic experiences, challenges, and celebrations in their successes, and encouraged to become the people God has called them to be. Our students come from different communities, backgrounds, interests, and talents, but they quickly discover they are part of something bigger than themselves. Whether in the classroom, on the stage, in competition, through service, or in prayer, they find meaningful opportunities to grow, build lasting friendships, and make a difference. Our faculty and staff are dedicated to helping every student succeed, not only academically, but also spiritually, socially, and personally. We challenge students through our core values: A Commitment to Excellence, A Spirit of Respect and Responsibility, Personal Integrity, and A Willingness to Serve. Thank you for considering Lake Catholic High School. We would be honored to welcome your family into our community and look forward to helping your student discover a place where they truly belong and grow in our faith-filled and mission-focused community. God Bless,
Thomas E. McKrill (‘07) Principal Lake Catholic High School

The heart of the Lake Catholic experience is your participation in the world outside our walls through service and ministry. Across the street or around the globe, we give you the opportunity to make a significant difference by giving your time and talents to others. Our Service Program starts your Freshman year. You’ll work with your fellow Cougars on projects that express our core values of a “spirit of respect & compassion” and “willingness to serve.” Each student participates in volunteer experiences throughout his/her Lake Catholic career with a minimum of 50 hours required for graduation. Most Cougars choose to do more, with those earning 80 hours honored with a Service Cord at graduation.

The Performing Arts are a vibrant and vital part of the student experience. Students are encouraged to break out of their comfort zone, find their voice, build confidence, and shine in their own unique way. Our Performing Arts Department offers a wide range of opportunities in vocal and instrumental music and theatre. Students can explore their talents in Concert Choir, Band, and Liturgical Music, or take the spotlight in our highly anticipated theatre productions—the Fall Play or Spring Musical that bring the entire school community together. Every program emphasizes both skill development and personal growth. Under the guidance of passionate educators and directors, students learn the discipline of rehearsal, the joy of collaboration, and the thrill of live performance.

Our Visual Arts classes do more than teach technique—they cultivate imagination, problem-solving, self-expression, and confidence. Students are encouraged to think critically, take creative risks, and express their unique perspectives through their work. We believe that every student has the potential to create something meaningful—and our Visual Arts program is designed to help bring that creativity to life. Whether they’re picking up a paintbrush for the first time or building a portfolio for college, students explore a wide range of media including drawing, painting, ceramics, digital design, photography, and more. Led by passionate educators who are working artists themselves, the program provides both structure and freedom, allowing students to grow artistically and personally. From vibrant classroom projects to award-winning pieces displayed in community showcases, our students discover the power of art to connect, communicate, and inspire. Here, creativity is not just encouraged—it’s celebrated. Because at Lake Catholic, we’re not just creating artists. We’re helping students become extraordinary thinkers, creators, and individuals.
