CARLY COLLIN & a love story

When Collin and I started planning our wedding, we knew it was going to be a small, intimate affair. We had been together for 10 years by this point, so the idea of having a huge wedding was just … not us! When it came time to plan the event itself, we knew we wanted a gathering where everyone could share in the celebratory atmosphere.

We also knew we wanted an event that reflected who we are as individuals and as a couple — and what could be more authentic than a winter wedding on the day of our 10th dating anniversary?

We narrowed down our options by choosing a town that holds a personal connection for us — Stillwater — as well as being convenient for our guests to travel to. Stillwater was an easy destination for our celebration because Collin’s family lives right across the border, while my family is from Stillwater itself. The beautiful landscape complemented its wintry charm perfectly!

We toured two venues with One23 events: The Loft and JX Venue. Ultimately, we chose The Loft for its cozy setting — it really felt like home away from home. The venue staff made it a seamless experience to select vendors to bring our wedding plans to life.

A fresh blanket of snow coupled with a warm winter day made for the most beautiful backdrop for the ceremony and pictures. Neither of us can imagine a better wedding day!
